Paula has been practicing criminal law for almost 25 years. She represents corporations from several industries and economic sectors in a myriad of criminal matters, such as corporate and bankruptcy crime, money laundering, white-collar, private investigations, among others.
Paula is very much involved in pro bono work. She is a member of the Board and Tax Council of the Innocence Project Brasil – the Brazilian branch of the US institution Innocence Project – and has worked for many years as fundraising Director of the Instituto de Defesa do Direito de Defesa (IDDD).
