Patrick's practice focuses on internal corporate investigations, government investigations, compliance reviews, and enforcement actions regarding corruption, financial and securities fraud, and healthcare and other regulatory violations. He has tried more than 30 federal jury trials as first chair, including high-profile white-collar cases, and handled 16 appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Career

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Patrick spent nearly 18 years with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), including as the head of the Fraud Section’s FCPA Unit (2014-2016) and the Securities and Financial Fraud Unit (2010-2014).
