Patrick has a broad banking and financial markets litigation practice, including in particular derivatives and structured products disputes. He also specialises in fund and private equity disputes and deals with contentious regulatory situations.
In recent years, Patrick has acted for many leading investment banks in court proceedings, arbitrations and regulatory enforcement actions in relation to many kinds of complex financial products, including synthetic collateralised debt obligations, structured investment vehicles and fund-linked products.
His experience includes secondments to an investment bank and to the House of Lords as the judicial assistant to the Senior Law Lord.
