In recent years, Patrick has acted for many leading investment banks in court proceedings, arbitrations and regulatory enforcement actions in relation to many kinds of complex financial products, including synthetic collateralised debt obligations, structured investment vehicles and fund-linked products.

His experience includes secondments to an investment bank and to the House of Lords as the judicial assistant to the Senior Law Lord.
