Patrick Nevins advises energy industry market participants on all aspects of major infrastructure project development, administrative litigation, and high-stakes regulatory matters and transactions.

Drawing on over 30 years of experience, Patrick represents electric utilities, oil and liquids pipelines and shippers, and companies in all segments of the natural gas industry, including: LNG project developers, pipeline and storage companies, LDCs, marketers, and producers.

Patrick also frequently represents investors, lenders, and others with interests in such regulated energy companies. He combines a business-focused approach with his sophisticated understanding of the energy regulatory landscape to guide clients with respect to commercial arrangements and regulatory approvals for major infrastructure projects, including: new and expanding gas pipelines, LNG projects, gathering and processing facilities, and NGL pipelines.

Patrick represents clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), state regulatory commissions, the Department of Energy (DOE), and in the US Courts of Appeals concerning the judicial review of agency decisions. He also regularly provides regulatory and industry expertise to support major financing and M&A transactions in the oil, gas and LNG industries.
