Patrick Doody

Pat Doody, a recognized authority on post-grant proceedings, patent infringement and Hatch-Waxman litigation, leads Pillsbury’s U.S. Patent and Trademark Office litigation team.

An Intellectual Property partner and member of Pillsbury’s Medical Devices and Life Sciences teams, Mr. Doody is a former patent examiner who provides strategic counsel to pharmaceutical, medical device, chemical and biotech clients. He prepares opinions, handles patent challenges before the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and has successfully litigated numerous patent infringement cases. He also conducts patent portfolio due diligence investigations and assists clients in bringing new products to market.
