Pallavi Meena is a key member of the firm's Banking & Finance and Project Finance practice.

Pallavi has earned a reputation as a highly regarded lawyer in respect of cross-border financings and has around 14 years of experience in advising on several such financings across various sectors, including the infrastructure and financial services sector, under the external commercial borrowings and the foreign portfolio investment routes. Apart from corporate financings, including credit enhanced financings and debenture issuances, she also has extensive experience and expertise in handling cross-border project financings, particularly in the renewables, clean tech and food security sector. She has advised (and continues to advise) several developmental financial institutions and multilaterals and counts reputed foreign institutional lenders such as United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), Export Development Canada (EDC) International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Asian Development Bank (ADB), among her key clients.

Pallavi is a proud mother of 2 children.

As mentioned above, a majority of her clients comprise of multilaterals and development financial institutions and a number of transactions undertaken by them in India, on which Pallavi has advised them as the lead Indian law counsel (including the DFC financings to CreditAccess Grameen Limited and ManiBhavnam Home Finance India Private Limited, mentioned below), have been for the benefit of marginalised women. She prides herself on being part of these transactions as in her view, there is no better way to support and encourage women initiatives than being part of transactions that aim to do so. She believes that her involvement in such transactions is a reflection of her contribution to the cause of women empowerment in sectors and areas where it is most needed.
