Óttar was with LOGOS between 1997-2006 (as Partner from 2001) and re-joined the firm in 2011. During 2006-2011 Óttar worked for Straumur-Burdaras Investment Bank (now ALMC hf.), first as General Counsel and later as CEO. Óttar is the Head of LOGOS’s banking and finance team. He sits on the boards of several companies, i.a. Kaupthing ehf. and ALMC hf.
