Ondřej advises on capital markets, banking & finance, M&A and investment funds, with a particular focus on transactions and structures involving financial institutions, investment firms and technology-driven businesses. He regularly assists issuers, investors and corporate clients with bond and note issuances, private placements, acquisition and venture financing, regulatory capital instruments and complex group restructurings.

In the fintech space, Ondřej frequently works on transactions involving the acquisition of regulated entities, venture investments into financial technology companies, and the structuring of financing and investment products for innovative business models. Clients value his ability to navigate the intersection of finance, regulation and technology and to provide commercially grounded solutions in areas where transactional work meets a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.

Ondřej is recognised by IFLR1000 as a Notable Practitioner in Capital Markets and is valued for his extensive experience in bond transactions, financings and acquisitions in regulated sectors.

Career

Before co-founding FINREG PARTNERS, Ondřej worked at Kocián Šolc Balaštík (KSB), one of the largest Czech law firms, where he advised on major bond issuances, cross-border financings and M&A transactions. He also participated in regulatory implementation projects for banks and investment firms, including MiFID II and other EU financial market reforms.

As co-founder of FINREG PARTNERS, Ondřej has helped build one of the most recognised specialised law firms in the Czech Republic, advising leading financial institutions, asset managers, fintech companies and investors on complex regulatory and transactional matters. His practice spans both domestic and multi-jurisdictional projects, including acquisitions of investment firms, structuring of bond financings for technology-enabled and real-estate businesses, and fund formation mandates.
