Practice Areas

Wide-ranging tax practice covering contentious and non-contentious work with an emphasis on private client matters involving complex trusts issues, questions of residence and non-dom taxation, charity tax and work at the interaction of public law and revenue law. Many clients and cases have an international element, including advising international families and offshore trustees. Litigates where necessary but equally enjoys negotiating confidential settlements.

Recent litigation includes significant cases in tribunals and higher courts, and trust variations. Regular experience as tax counsel in family litigation and trust disputes in the UK and in offshore jurisdictions.
