Nuhu is a Partner at NexLaw Advocates focusing on Natural Resources, Real estates, Construction, Procurement, General Commerce, Employment and Arbitration. He has presided over several arbitrations as an arbitrator. He has also handled litigation, arbitration, and mediation in various Judicial, Quasi-Judicial and private tribunals.

Nuhu is the former Vice President of Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators (TIArb), a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN), Tanganyika Law Society (TLS), and East Africa Law Society (EALS). He is listed in the panel of Arbitrators of the Tanzania National Construction Council (NCC) Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators (TIArb) and Architects and Quantity Surveyors Registration Board (AQRB).

Nuhu has an LLM dissertation on Alternative Dispute Resolution, and canvassed arbitration widely. He has also written and presented papers on arbitration and ADR generally.
