Niels Ersbøll

Niels Christian Ersbøll advises clients on EU competition law in relation to merger control, cartels and restrictive practices, and abuse of dominance. Niels heads the Arnold & Porter office in Brussels.

He frequently handles merger control work on large-scale transactions in the EU and coordinating worldwide filings. In the cartel space, he has successfully defended clients in several EU investigations and recently also acted on appeals as well as follow-on claims. Mr. Ersbøll frequently advises on non-contentious antitrust issues, and has particular experience in the life sciences and shipping industries. Mr. Ersbøll has helped numerous clients designing and implementing compliance measures and conducting internal investigations and audits.
