Appellate & Supreme Court:

Represents clients in a wide range of environmental regulatory, litigation and transactional matters. Includes enforcement actions, toxic tort class actions and climate change issues.

Export Controls:

Counsels on compliance with the US Dept of State’s International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the US Dept of Commerce’s Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and sanctions laws administered by the US Dept of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

FDA & Healthcare:

Advises pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and other healthcare entities on regulatory matters including fraud and abuse, pricing and contracting, coverage and reimbursement.

Finance:

Serves banks and other financial services companies in securitisation and other finance matters, with recognised strength in structured finance and derivatives, syndicated and leveraged finance, and project development finance in the aviation and transportation, energy and infrastructure and financial institution regulation sectors.

Financial Services:

Handles legal, business, and regulatory issues encountered by financial institutions, including growth and expansion, regulatory, financial products and services, capital markets, corporate governance and investment management regulation.

Government Contracts:

Advises companies conducting business with government agencies on white-collar crime, compliance programs, litigation, corporate transactions, privatisation, outsourcing, policy and legislation.

Intellectual Property:

Handles acquisition, protection, exploitation, and enforce-ment of IP rights relating to computer and information technology, the internet, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.

International Arbitration:

Long-standing ties to Latin America. Has advised on international arbitration projects for the US and international clients. Serve as advisers, advocates and arbitrators in economic disputes between sovereign governments and private investors.
