Career
Partner Nicolás del Real has over a decade of experience, focusing his practice on national and international arbitration involving civil, commercial, insurance, construction, energy, and administrative disputes. He is listed as an arbitrator by the Santiago Court of Appeals and has been recognized by leading international legal publications. Nicolás holds a Law Degree from Universidad de Chile (2013, with maximum distinction) and is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Business Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Prior to joining Ovalle Abogados, he practiced at top Chilean firms including Bofill Escobar Silva, Guerrero Olivos, and Ovalle & Bulnes. In addition to his practice, Nicolás teaches Procedural Law at Universidad de Chile and has lectured at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
