Career

Niclas studied at the universities of Heidelberg and Geneva and at Nottingham Law School. He completed his legal training in Heidelberg, Berlin and Miami. Before POSSER SPIETH WOLFERS & PARTNERS was founded, he worked as a lawyer and principal associate in the Environment, Planning and Regulatory Group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP.

Niclas advises national and international companies as well as governments on a wide range of environmental law and regulatory questions. His work focusses on approval procedures for major energy, industrial and infrastructure projects, representing clients in and outside court in cases of liability for environmental damage or in crisis situations such as operational incidents as well as on advising on the specific questions that are faced by industries in transition. He speaks German and English.
