Career

Burkard Wollenschläger studied at the universities of Regensburg, Oxford (Brasenose College), Heidelberg and Konstanz from 1998 to 2004. He received his doctorate from the University of Konstanz in 2008. He was a research assistant at the University of Konstanz from 2004 to 2007. He completed his legal training in Konstanz and Munich. He speaks German, English and French.

Burkard Wollenschläger works as a lawyer and partner in our Berlin office. Before pswp was founded, he was a member of the Environment, Planning and Regulatory (Public Commercial Law) Group at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He advises on policy-oriented state and administrative law. Burkard Wollenschläger has worked for national and international clients from the automotive, finance, water, and energy sectors. He also represents clients’ interests in contentious proceedings before public authorities, civil and administrative courts, in arbitration proceedings and before the constitutional court.
