Nick Lindsay is a corporate lawyer and chartered company secretary who specialises in supporting clients across complex corporate, governance and company secretarial matters.
Nick has built a reputation for providing pragmatic and commercial solutions to clients’ problems, coupled with excellent technical knowledge.
Nick is the Founder and Managing Director of Elemental CoSec and supports a wide range of clients. He also has a particular interest in working alongside law firms to support their clients through the corporate and company secretarial challenges of emerging legislation.
Career
Nick trained at Olswang LLP (now merged to form CMS) and practised as a corporate lawyer. He also worked in-house at Visa Europe and BBC Worldwide before founding Elemental CoSec.
Nick has been the Managing Director of Elemental for the last 15 years. Under his leadership, Elemental has been recognised as one of the Fastest-Growing Companies in Europe by the FT in 2024, 2025 and 2026, and a three-time winner of Service Provider of the Year at the Chartered Governance Institute Awards.
