Mylan is Co-Chair of Gibson Dunn’s Public Policy and Workplace Misconduct Investigations Practice Groups and a member of the Crisis Management, White Collar Defense and Investigations, Financial Institutions, and Labor and Employment Practice Groups. She conducts complex internal investigations and leads complex litigation. Mylan is a trial attorney. She represents diverse companies in their most critical times. Mylan is also Co-Partner in Charge of the New York Office.
In 2022, Mylan was appointed to serve as the independent NYPD Monitor to oversee the court ordered reform process. Previously, she served in a wide variety of roles as in government, including as Counsel to the NY State Governor, as an Executive Deputy Attorney General in the NY Attorney General’s Office, and as Deputy Commissioner for Legal Affairs for the NYC Fire Department. Mylan also served as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, and then as Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division.
Member of the Women’s White Collar Defense Association, Association of Black Women Attorneys, New York City Bar Association, National Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and Metropolitan Black Bar Association.
