Mitchell J Auslander

Mitchell Auslander is senior counsel in Willkie’s Litigation Department. Mr. Auslander’s commercial litigation practice focuses on insurance and reinsurance matters worldwide, and government investigations. Some of Mr. Auslander’s significant matters include serving as counsel to policyholders in numerous coverage cases; an insurance company in opioid coverage litigations; an insurance company in a major DFS investigation; an insurance company in an internal investigation; a key defendant in a multidistrict litigation arising out of government investigations into the insurance industry; and brokers in many E&O matters. Mr. Auslander has been appointed as a Special Master by the New York State Appellate Division - First Department. He is ranked as a Senior Statesperson by Chambers.
