Mr. Jin Mingming joined Commerce & Finance in 2008. He devotes himself to capital market and serves clients in the industries such as energy and powers, real estate, cultural media and finance.

Mr. Jin has extensive experience in handling domestic and overseas M&As, material assets restructuring, and IPOs. He is good at designing transaction structure therefor and has comprehensive understanding of related laws and regulations. Mr. Jin has rich experience of legal service in FMCG industry.

Mr. Jin has involved as a legal counsel in a number of significant cases, such as the acquisition of Orient Overseas (International) Limited by COSCO Shipping Holdings Co., Ltd., (601919.SH) the merger of China Shipping (Group) Company and China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company, WH Group Limited’s (00288.HK) acquisition of Smithfield Foods, Inc., ICBC International’s investment in Midea Group Co., Ltd., the establishment of a large scale industrial fund by Henan Investment Group and China International Capital Corporation Limited (CICC), and the listing of WH Group Limited on HKEX (00288.HK).

A number of Mr. Jin’s representative cases are awarded by domestic and International legal rating agencies and publications. The merger of CSR Corporation?Limited (01766.HK, 601766.SH) and CNR Corporation?Limited (06199.HK, 601299.SH) was awarded as the M&A Deal of the Year 2015 by Asian Legal Business (ALB). The acquisition of Smithfield Foods, Inc. by WH Group Limited (00288.HK) was awarded as the M&A Deal of the Year, the PRC Deal of the Year and the Deal of the Year by FinanceAsia, Asian Legal Business (ALB), and China Business Law in 2013. The acquisition of Henan Shuanghui Investment & Development Co., Ltd. (000895.SZ) was awarded as the M&A Deal of the Year by China Business Law in 2011 in 2012; The strategic alliance of Tingyi (Cayman Islands) Holding Corp. (0322.HK) with Pepsico Inc. was awarded as the Joint Venture Deal of the Year by China Business Law in 2011.
