He has appeared in many of the leading cases in the field, including the Croydon Tram Disaster, successfully defending a senior manager in the prosecution following the Bosley Mill explosion, successfully defending Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust (the first Trust to be prosecuted for Corporate manslaughter), the prosecution of Arcadia and Topshop, and as junior counsel to the Coroner in the Lakanal House Fire Inquests.
He is currently instructed in several of the most high-profile ongoing health and safety investigations including the Grenfell Tower Inquiry, the Didcot Power Station collapse, and the Bournemouth Beach inquests.
