Mr. Sabatini focuses on commercial and investment arbitration and international litigation. He regularly assists and advises Italian and foreign clients in complex arbitrations on contracts involving private and public parties and different sets of rules (ICC, UNCITRAL, LCIA, EDF).
From 2006 to 2013, before founding ARBLIT, Mr. Sabatini worked in the international arbitration department of Bonelli Erede Pappalardo (now BonelliErede) under the leadership of Professors Antonio Crivellaro and Luca Radicati di Brozolo. Before joining BonelliErede, he worked at the law firm of Professor Massimo Coccia, a leading Italian sports law and arbitration specialist and one of the most in demand arbitrators at the Court of Arbitration for Sports (TAS/CAS).

Mr. Sabatini has published extensively on matters related to international arbitration. He coordinated the Section on international arbitration of the main Italian commentary on arbitration (Commentario Breve al Diritto dell’Arbitrato, CEDAM) and is on the editorial board of the ICC Dispute Resolution Bulletin and of Diritto del Commercio Internazionale. He also edits regularly the “Panorama of World Case Law” for Italy in The Paris Journal of International Arbitration. He co-authored the IBA Country Guide for Italy and contributed to the 2015 IBA comparative study on public policy.
