Michał Tracz

Michał Tracz is an expert in pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic law. He also advises on legal aspects of manufacturing, import, distribution and marketing of other regulated products, such as animal feed/pet food, veterinary medicinal products, hygiene products, household chemical products, biocidal products, fertilisers, plant protection products and other chemicals. He has also dealt with aspects of product liability, including general product safety regulation.

He represents clients before authorities, in particular, the Sanitary Inspectorate, the Trade Inspectorate and the Agricultural and Food Quality Inspectorate. He provides legal support in crisis situations (suspension / recall of products from the market, the RASFF system/Safety Gate) as well as advice regarding procedures and training.

Michał Tracz supports businesses (manufacturers, importers and distributors, including retail chains) as well as industry initiatives and industry associations. He advises owners, board members as well as various departments within companies such as legal and compliance, regulatory, medical, quality assurance, R&D, public affairs, public relations, marketing and sales departments. He also advises on environmental communication, sustainability and greenwashing. He has experience in compliance issues and business self-regulation. He participated in the preparation of the Code of Good Marketing Practice of Dietary Supplements. He additionally has experience in coordinating legal support in various countries.

Before joining KRK, he worked for almost 9 years in the Life Sciences team of one of Poland’s largest law firms. During his professional career to date, he has advised over 100 entities from various regulated industries, including FMCG.

Michał Tracz holds the post of Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Polish Council for Supplements and Nutritional Foods.

He is a member in the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw.
