Personal
Mr. Michael Wu is the head of the Shenzhen Branch, specializing in patent infringement, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, and unfair competition litigation. He also has expertise in the enforcement of intellectual property rights through administrative procedures and patent invalidation proceedings. Mr. Wu is licensed to practice as both an attorney at law and a patent attorney.
With a unique understanding of mobile telecommunications patent litigation, software patent litigation, and internet-related copyright litigation, Mr. Wu brings a wealth of knowledge to his practice. He earned his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Material Science from Wuhan University of Technology in 1996 and 1999, respectively. In 2014, he pursued a J.M./J.D. degree at Peking University, School of Transnational Law, where he systematically studied both Chinese and American law.
Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Wu spent ten years in the mobile telecommunications industry and founded a company specializing in mobile telecommunication services.
He has been invited to serve as a member of the China Global Advisory Council (GAC) of INTA for 2022-2023. Additionally, he is a frequent speaker at IP seminars and client training courses on China's IP strategy.
