Melissa Jones-Prus is a partner in the firm’s Asset Finance practice, focusing on complex debt and equity transactions in the aviation sector.

Ms. Jones-Prus regularly represents lessors, asset managers, airlines, commercial banks and other financiers and investors in all manner of aircraft-backed debt and equity transactions. She is adept at navigating complex cross-border structures and issues. She negotiates commercial financings, warehouse facilities, export credit-supported financings, operating leases, sales and other portfolio transactions, capital markets offerings, joint ventures and private equity investments, many of which have won “Deal of the Year” awards. Ms. Jones-Prus also advises on debt restructurings and insolvency proceedings in the aviation sector, including in airline bankruptcies.
