Melinda’s practice is focused on commercial real estate, developments, and alcohol regulatory law.
She advises real estate developers in the creation of mixed-use projects, subdivisions, and zoning matters. She has noted experience in condominiums, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Additionally, she regularly works with hotels and restaurants in obtaining or transferring liquor licenses following expansions, mergers, and other management changes. She is a Certified Cicerone who represents both wholesalers and suppliers in wine, beer, and liquor contracts and transactions.
Melinda regularly presents seminars for developers, management companies, and associations on the topic of condominium and subdivision law in Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi. She has spoken on multiple occasions at the Craft Brewer’s Conference about various legal topics relevant to brewery owners and managers.
