Melania Dittel

Melania Dittel is a Partner at Arias Costa Rica and leads the Corporate and Notary Services Department.

With extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, she advises companies on contract drafting, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. She also has a strong background in family law, assisting both businesses and individuals in structuring complex estates, as well as in wealth planning and succession proceedings.

She has developed significant expertise in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in regulatory compliance and health records management, guiding companies through intricate legal frameworks.

Beyond her legal practice, Melania is deeply committed to social impact. She leads Arias’ Pro Bono and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in Costa Rica, reinforcing the firm’s dedication to giving back to the community.

Melania’s journey at Arias spans nearly two decades. She started as a legal assistant in 2006, became an Associate in 2008, and was named Partner in 2019—a testament to her dedication and leadership within the firm.
