He was an administrative judge in the Administrative State Tax Court in São Paulo for 6 years, during which he kept his activities as a partner in the firm. While acting as an administrative judge, he was particularly busy with cases involving indirect taxation, most notably ICMS matters. This unique experience means Mauricio is particularly well-equipped to advise and represent his clients in administrative court proceedings. Most tax litigation matters the firm handles are overseen by him.
