Matthew McCullough advises clients on a variety of cross-border U.S. and international trade matters. Working out of Geneva and Washington, D.C., his practice focuses on trade remedy (AD/CVD/Safeguards) proceedings, export controls and sanctions, U.S. customs procedures, and extends to disputes before the World Trade Organization (“WTO”).

Matthew has represented both private sector clients and government interests around the globe, with matters in Argentina, Canada, China, Japan, Korea, Oman, Russia, Spain and Vietnam. Among these representations are high-profile matters such as U.S. trade actions on Large Passenger Aircraft from Canada, Lumber from Canada, Uncoated Groundwood Paper from Canada, Biodiesel from Argentina, and Ripe Olives from Spain, where he was engaged by either the responding government, a major exporter, or both government and exporter interests.

Mr. McCullough is frequently consulted on subsidy issues, including matters related to application of United States countervailing duty law and disciplines under the WTO Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures.
