About
Provided by Matthew Bradley KC
Practice Areas
Matthew specialises in commercial litigation and arbitration. He is recognised by various directories as a leader in the fields of (1) commercial disputes (2) civil fraud (3) commercial chancery (4) company & partnership & (5) product liability law.
Further areas of focus include offshore work and professional negligence disputes. Much of his work is international in nature, often involving conflicts of law and jurisdictional issues.
He acts in a wide variety of disputes in the Business and Property Courts and in commercial arbitrations. He has significant experience in economic torts and conspiracy claims and is often instructed in applications for interim relief, including freezing injunctions and Norwich Pharmacal orders.
He acts in a broad range of unfair prejudice petitions and has a niche practice in shareholder-employee claims. Claims for breaches of warranty are a mainstay, as are contractual claims of all types.
His product liability work embraces international sale of goods disputes, as well as group litigation involving the Consumer Protection Act. His professional negligence work focuses primarily on lawyers and financial advisers. He is an experienced trial advocate, whose cases often straddle various areas of commercial law.
Many recent cases in which Matthew has acted as sole counsel are reported decisions and he speaks French, German and Spanish.
