Matteo Bascelli is head of Restructuring and Insolvency Department and partner of Banking and Finance Department of LMS Studio Legale since 2019.

With more than twenty five years of banking law experience gained at some of the most prestigious Italian and international law firms and thanks to his deep knowledge of insolvency and restructuring law, Matteo regularly assists many of the most top-tier banks and financial institutions in financial and debt restructuring transactions, providing a legal advice in the multiple stages of bank credit, from lending to restructuring.

Furthermore, Matteo regularly provides legal assistance to the major Italian banks and institutional investors in various kind of transactions relating to the destocking of NPE.
