MaryDilys Anderson focuses her practice on patent prosecution and client counseling, in areas including biotechnology and the life sciences. Her experience includes protecting compositions and methods for use in therapeutics and diagnostics for cancers, metabolic diseases, cardiovascular disease, neurological conditions, learning and memory disorders, sensory impairment, and infectious disease. MaryDilys has experience assessing and protecting compounds and methods to control biological contamination and has worked in the area of materials chemistry including protection for paints, adhesives, and diagnostic imaging agents. MaryDilys’ experience also includes protecting designs and functional aspects of a variety of consumer products.
MaryDilys provides strategic counseling for a wide range of clients including inventors, entrepreneurs, small companies, universities, and multinational corporations.
Before becoming a lawyer, MaryDilys completed her undergraduate degree at Oberlin College, received a Ph.D. in developmental biology/neuroscience from Yale University, and completed a three-year post-doctoral research fellowship in human genetics at Harvard Medical School.
