Mårten Tagaeus

Mårten represents Swedish and international clients in both public and private sectors. He has extensive experience of handling major environmental permit processes, often multi-million projects crucial for the clients’ core businesses. Furthermore, Mårten frequently advises on matters related to contaminated land and is often involved in large scale projects for remedial actions such as toxic land cleanups. He also offers strategic legal advise on the EU regulation REACH regarding chemicals and has extensive knowledge on handling REACH compliance matters. Over the years, Mårten has aquired special knowledge on clean water and sanitation issues and has e.g. held the position as board secretary of a major water treatment plant in Sweden since 2014. He offers strategic legal advise on various water related matters; such as water protection areas, water sanitation, water discharge issues, environmental permits for water activities etc.
