Marta Popa is Deputy Managing Partner at Voicu & Asociații and a senior lawyer with extensive experience in corporate, commercial and M&A matters. She regularly advises Romanian and international clients on complex transactions, including acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures and business transfers, as well as on day-to-day corporate governance and strategic projects.

She is particularly active in coordinating multi-stage transactions, managing due diligence processes and supporting negotiations through to implementation. Her experience spans a wide range of industries, where she assists clients in structuring and executing investments and operational changes in a legally and commercially efficient manner.

In addition, her practice covers employment and data protection aspects arising in transactions and corporate reorganisations, ensuring integrated advice across all stages of a project.

Marta Popa is recognized for her pragmatic and business-oriented approach, her attention to detail and her ability to manage complex, cross-practice mandates. As part of the firm’s leadership, she contributes to the development of its transactional practice and to maintaining long-term client relationships.
