Marie Bena is a Partner at Brucher Thieltgen & Partners. She heads the firm’s Employment department and serves as Co-Head of the Dispute Resolution practice.

She advises domestic and international clients on complex employment disputes and commercial litigation, with particular experience in disputes involving employment relationships, corporate governance issues and real estate matters.

Her practice covers employment litigation, including contested dismissals, executive departures and disputes involving senior employees, as well as civil and commercial litigation before Luxembourg courts. She regularly represents clients in high-stakes disputes requiring strategic positioning and procedural precision.

In addition to her contentious work, Marie advises employers on all aspects of Luxembourg labour law, assisting clients with both day-to-day HR management issues and sensitive employment disputes. Her work often involves situations where employment law intersects with corporate governance or financial considerations.

Marie has also contributed to legal publications in the areas of banking law, administrative law and construction law, including chapters in Droit bancaire et financier au Luxembourg (Larcier) and articles in legal journals.
