Mariana Fernández

She works in the Labor Law and Social Security Department. Her regular practice includes comprehensive attention to clients providing preventive advice in labor matters and collective bargaining agreements and representing clients in administrative and judicial proceedings.

Due to her vast experience, she has worked with clients in different areas such as commerce in general and more specifically in the following lines of business: foodstuffs, information technology, laboratories, professional associations, financial services, transport and logistics, forestry and timber industry, etc..

At the academic level, she is an Assistant Professor of Labor and Social Security Law I and II – Universidad de la República, and actively participates in different press media and academic forums publishing articles and reports on labor law and other current issues in the field
