A former United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Mr. Jiménez is recognized for his proven track record of success in complex business litigation and white-collar defense with an emphasis on cross-border and high-profile matters.

As the presidentially-appointed and Senate-confirmed United States Attorney for South Florida, Mr. Jiménez led approximately 230 federal prosecutors across all areas of federal criminal law enforcement in one of the nation's largest federal districts. During his tenure, he served on the select Attorney General's Advisory Committee of US Attorneys, headed the nation's largest Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, and concentrated on anti-terrorism efforts in the wake of 9/11. Earlier in his career, he served as an Assistant US Attorney, successfully first-chairing criminal trials and appeals.
Mr. Jiménez regularly represents large companies and business owners in complex business litigation and white-collar matters. His accomplishments include the recovery of more than $100 million in a complex fraud case for a French government instrumentality, and the defeat of a putative derivative action seeking a $1.6 billion distribution to the policyholders of Florida's largest health insurance company.
