He is a commentator in the commentary on the German Securities Acquisition and Takeover Act published by Baums/Thoma/Verse and co-author of the handbook on German Takeover Law published by Paschos/Fleischer. He is also commentator in the Beck Online Commentary on Securities Laws published by Seibt/Buck-Haeb.
Career
Marco Sustmann studied law at the Universities of Trier and Maastricht, The Netherlands. He was a research assistant at the University of Trier, where he earned a doctorate in law in 2000. Before joining GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ in 2012, he had been a partner in the international law firm Shearman & Sterling LLP since 2008.
