With almost twenty-five years of experience in this field, he is highly respected in the German market for his deep knowledge paired-with with a pragmatic and result-oriented negotiation style.
Career
As one of the founding partners, Achim Glade has been with GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ since its incorporation in 2007. Prior thereto, he was a partner in an international law firm since 2003 and an associate with another leading corporate law firm since 1999. In addition, he spent a year working for Davis Polk & Wardwell in their Menlo Park and New York offices.
Achim Glade earned his doctorate with a thesis on investor protection in futures trading at the University of Bonn after studying law. In parallel to attending law school, he worked as a risk analyst in the corporate finance division of Deutsche Bank AG.
