Marc Bruner represents governmental entities and private companies in a wide variety of environmental matters. He regularly works with clients in resolving complex permitting, mitigation and compliance issues under the federal Clean Water Act, the California Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act, the federal and California Endangered Species Acts, the National Environmental Policy Act, the California Environmental Quality Act, and the panoply of California laws and regulations governing water supply, coastal development, development along the banks of streams and rivers, historic and archaeological resources, stormwater from construction and industrial activities, groundwater, air quality, the management and disposal of solid and hazardous wastes, and the investigation and remediation of contaminated sites.

Marc is particularly well versed in the overlap and the distinctions in the environmental arena among the applicable federal, state and local regulations, and in helping clients navigate the diverse set of rules in an efficient, practical and effective manner. Marc has a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience that enable him to tackle multi-faceted environmental problems comprehensively and strategically. He works regularly with large project teams and a broad range of environmental and technical consultants.
