Maeve Lucey

Maeve is an Associate in the family team. She joined Osbornes in May 2025.

She qualified as a solicitor in 2016 and is also qualified as a solicitor in Ireland.

Maeve specialises in divorce, financial remedies and private children disputes. She has experience in bringing applications for financial relief after foreign divorces and jurisdictional disputes relating to divorce. Maeve also advises clients in relation to matters such as prenuptial and cohabitation agreements, as well as financial disputes which may arise following the separation of unmarried couples, including financial arrangements for children.

Maeve frequently advises clients in relation to issues concerning domestic abuse and the associated court proceedings, and understands the careful and sensitive approach required.

Maeve also represents parents in private children cases relating to child arrangements, relocation and specific issues.

She takes a pragmatic and sensible approach to cases and always attempts to settle out of court where appropriate. She is known for her compassionate and professional approach to client care and has received positive testimonials for the support she has provided to clients throughout her career.

Maeve is a member of Resolution, and is accredited in complex financial remedies, and private children matters.
