Arbitration Practice Co-leader. Maciej has extensive experience in arbitration as counsel, arbitrator, and tribunal’s secretary. He handles complicated arbitrations and litigations, including cross-border proceedings in various sectors.

Career

Since 2018, he has been regularly appointed as an arbitrator in domestic and international arbitrations. Maciej is a member of the Arbitration Committee of the Confederation Lewiatan Court of Arbitration. He serves as Deputy Chair of the Civil and Commercial Litigation Practice Section at the Krakow Bar Association and a Member of the Editorial Board (Editorial Board) of the Czech (& Central European) Yearbook of Arbitration. For many years, he has successfully prepared Jagiellonian University students to participate in the Willem C. Vis Moot – a competition in international arbitration and international trade law.

Professional Memberships

Member of the Krakow Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law. He is also listed on the VIAC practitioner list and the list of Recommended Arbitrators of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw, the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Confederation Lewiatan, the Construction Court at the Association of Consulting Engineers and Surveyors in Warsaw, Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia as well as the arbitration database of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).

Maciej is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), Young Austrian Arbitration Practitioners (YAAP), Young Arbitration Practitioners in Poland (YAPP), and Rising Arbitrators Initiative (RAI).
