Luis Barragán is Founding Partner and Managing Director of BRAB Abogados, S.C. Since co-founding the firm in 2016, he has led its strategic, financial and operational direction, being responsible for the firm's institutional growth, partner governance and the evolution of its service model. Luis Barragán has led the following representative matters over the past year. Client identities are withheld for confidentiality.
Real estate development. He leads the integral legal structuring of the most valuable real estate development in Guadalajara, a residential, office, retail and services project representing an investment in excess of MXN 5 billion, covering the holding structure, the land contribution, the financing framework and the project's contractual architecture.
Corporate restructuring. He directed the reorganisation of an industrial group formed by more than 16 entities, redesigning its ownership chain, governance bodies and intercompany arrangements to support the group's growth and succession plans.
Joint venture. He is negotiating the corporate restructuring and joint venture of three companies belonging to a well known media production group, aligning the shareholders on valuation, control and exit mechanics.
Succession planning. He advised a business family on the creation of a succession trust over assets exceeding MXN 150 million, structuring the transfer of ownership across generations while preserving management control.
