Provided by BRAB Abogados
BRAB Abogados' general business law practice covers the full legal life cycle of companies operating in Mexico. The department advises on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, governance, foreign investment, commercial contracts, labor and employment, tax, regulatory and administrative matters, intellectual property and corporate criminal law, with all five partners directly involved in client work.
The practice combines two client bases. On the domestic side, the firm acts for leading Mexican companies on their most significant corporate matters, including restructurings, M&A and governance. On the international side, BRAB serves as outside general counsel for foreign owned subsidiaries, particularly manufacturers in the electronics and industrial sectors, handling incorporation, foreign investment compliance, real estate, labor, immigration and regulatory matters throughout their operations in Mexico. The department delivers its work bilingually in Spanish and English.
Recent work includes corporate restructurings of leading Mexican companies, the full market entry and operational setup of a multinational consumer electronics manufacturer, and legal due diligence on Mexican operations in connection with a client's public listing.
