In children matters, Lucia is regularly instructed in intractable contact disputes, relocation cases, matters involving complex psychological issues, and for extended fact-finding hearings.
Lucia also has experience in all aspects of family finance, including applications pursuant to Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989 or TLATA 1996, variation and enforcement proceedings. She acts in complex cases, for example involving jurisdictional disputes or complicated asset structures. Reported cases include: Bloom v Bloom [2017] EWFC B108. Prior to joining 1KBW Lucia was an associate solicitor at Linklaters LLP, gaining experience in trust, tax and company law.
Lucia is one of the authors of the Dictionary of TLATA, Inheritance Act and Schedule 1 claims, and responsible for updating the TLATA leading cases for AAG Cloud.
Lucia also delivers training and talks, and is an accredited advocacy trainer.
