Liz Ramsey is a senior associate at Veló Legal and a key member of the firm’s Corporate / Digital (Fintech) department. Her work focuses on implementing legal frameworks for digital platforms, fintech products and technology-based business models. Liz is recognised for her precision in contractual structuring and for her ability to align technical product features with compliant legal documentation, particularly in cross-border contexts.

She advises companies operating in fintech, software, automation, e-commerce and data-driven sectors, supporting their regulatory, contractual and operational needs. Her experience extends to adapting terms of service, privacy policies, IP protections and digital onboarding flows for local and international clients. As part of her professional background, she has also carried out work for Drake University as part of a project developed by the institution.

Liz plays an important role in the firm’s collaboration with early-stage companies within the City of Knowledge innovation ecosystem, where she provides guidance on corporate structures, compliance and market entry. Her practice reflects Veló Legal’s commitment to clear, agile and technology-aware legal services.

Advising ENX Group (Interfuerza, Elconix, Arpia) on contractual structuring, IP protection, and the review and adaptation of platform documentation, including Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policies.

Supporting the establishment and regulatory implementation of Volcan Processing Panamá alongside partner Juan Antonio Boyd, including corporate structuring, licensing procedures and alignment with financial regulations.

Assisting multiple startups and SMEs under the City of Knowledge Foundation programme, providing guidance on corporate governance, regulatory compliance and contractual design for high-growth digital ventures.

Advising Softbotic on software agreements, licensing terms, usage rights and IP protection for its RPA and AI-based automation tools.
