Practice Areas
Lisa has developed a practice specialising in serious organised crime and serious violence and homicide and defends and prosecutes in equal measure. She is often the go to barrister of choice for those cases where the witnesses or defendants are particularly vulnerable either through mental health issues, learning difficulties or age.
Lisa was called to the Bar in 2011 having been both a defence duty solicitor and a Senior Crown Prosecutor and Crown Advocate for 15 years before that – her experience lends her an insight into practises and procedures that means that no stone is left unturned.
Lisa’s keen interest in progressing social mobility led to her being appointed as Co Chair of the Midland Circuit Social Mobility Committee in August 2023, and she enjoys being an active member of the Midland Circuit Equality and Diversity Committee and the Midland Circuit Women’s Forum.
