Rhys Taylor specialises in money and property disputes following family relationship breakdown.
Rhys is an experienced and able advocate. His work often involves complex structures and the interaction of family law with other areas of law such as trusts, property and pensions.
Rhys has a busy dispute resolution practice, with a combination of private FDRs, arbitrations and mediations. He regularly acts as the tribunal/mediator in such settings, but is equally at home advocating in this context. Rhys sits as a Recorder in the Family Court on the South-Eastern Circuit.

Publications
Rhys is a member of the Family Procedure Rule Committee and the sub-committee of the Online Procedure Rule Committee. He is a contributing editor to the Family Court Practice (money and property sections). He is also the editor of the Financial Remedies Journal (Class). He is a co-author of the forthcoming fourth edition of “Pensions on Divorce: A Practitioner’s Handbook” and a member of the Pension Advisory Group. Rhys lectures regularly on his areas of interest, including at the Judicial College on the subject of pensions on divorce.
