Ms. Clapham has long focused her legal career on behalf of insurance company interests in the state and federal courts of the Northwest. In addition to providing coverage advice and analysis, her expertise for insurance company clients includes appellate litigation, including assisting with preservation of error work alongside trial counsel and participating as amicus curiae.

Although raised in Seattle, Linda has lived in Cologne, Germany, New York City, Washington D.C., and Sun Valley, Idaho.

Industry Sector Expertise

With the increase in nuclear verdicts, insurance companies are finding it wise to retain preservation of error counsel to assist the trial team in place with motions in limine, jury instructions, mid-trial motions, and post-trial motions thereby positioning the case for appeal or helping to avoid an appeal altogether.
