As a dedicated resources project approvals and compliance specialist, Liam has a broad practice that spans project delivery issues, including native title and cultural heritage, mining and petroleum tenement approvals, carbon and environmental approvals. He regularly assists clients with government liaison and stakeholder management, compliance and incident response, as well as project acquisition and divestment.
Career
Liam has advised on the delivery of approvals for some of the largest projects in Australia, demonstrating his expertise as a mining and resources specialist. His hands-on industry experience is extensive, ranging from government to infrastructure providers, resources and renewable energy proponents, property developers, Traditional Owners, and the food and agribusiness industry. Having previously worked in-house for two large corporates, Peabody Energy and QGC, Liam understands the necessity for swift, accurate, and commercial advice.
