All aspects of family law including care proceedings; representing parents, local authorities and children’s guardians in cases involving complex issues including alleged non-accidental injury (death, brain injury, subdural and retinal bleeding, fractures, anal and genital injuries, FII, bruising), alleged sexual abuse, jurisdictional problems, alleged radicalisation and difficult welfare issues. High value and / or complex financial remedies claims with expertise and experience in cases involving non-matrimonial wealth, farms, companies, trusts and pensions. Equitable co-ownership claims. Private law children matters (child arrangements orders, leave to remove, child abduction) and Schedule I claims. Judicial Review applications particularly those involving local authority duties to children and vulnerable adults. Claims under the Human Rights Act 1998. Probate claims (wills, capacity and claims under the Inheritance Act). Highly experienced at Family Court, High Court and appellate levels. IFLA qualified Arbitrator and ADR qualified mediator. Conducts private FDRs.
